Why we choose Barco
The Series 4 platform was built with cinema operators, from the drawing board to the projection booth, so it suits the way a real auditorium runs.
Colour and contrast
RGB laser covers a wide gamut, the full P3 space on the 2K models and up to 98,5% of rec. 2020 on the 4K models, so skies and skin tones read the way the colourist intended.
Brightness that holds
There is no lamp to fade or flicker. Brightness stays even across the screen, show after show, so the room looks the same on a Tuesday morning as it does on opening night.
Ready for what comes next
The 4K models run at 120 fps and are ready for immersive sound, so the room keeps up as new formats arrive.

The Series 4 advantage
Built to run for years, not bulbs.
| Running cost | Up to 11,5 lumens per watt, more than 50% less energy than xenon |
|---|---|
| Light source life | Rated beyond 40.000 hours, so far fewer interventions |
| Maintenance | Field-swappable Barco Laser Plates and tool-free filters |
| Noise | Down to around 40 dB(A), quiet enough for boothless rooms |
| Upgrade path | Fits existing Series 2 pedestals and lenses, so you reuse what you have |
Barco, in motion
See it for yourself.
The range we work with
One family, every screen.
The right projector depends on the screen, the room, and how the cinema runs. We work that out with you and recommend the model that fits, then handle the install and the calibration.
